About
Access First provides practical, clear, and cost-effective advice that helps organisations create more inclusive environments for all, regardless of disability, neurodivergence or any other protected characteristic. We recognise and champion the importance of intersectionality.
Whilst we can advise on building regulations such as BS8300, Part M and PAS6463 as part of our reviews, our work is centered around the ethos that there is no substitute for listening to the subjective experiences of disabled people to go above and beyond what is required under the Equality Act. This ensures that policy turns into practice.
We provide subjective insights into how your environment is experienced by a disabled service user, whilst connecting this real-life case study to existing regulations and legislation.
We can also advise on general good practice in Accessibility and Inclusion including neuroinclusion, for events, workplaces and other public settings.
